How to get to Cozumel

Arriving in Cozumel is quite easy. There are flights from Dallas/Fort Worth, Atlanta and Houston almost every day direct to Cozumel Island. If you are in Central America try one of the local airlines to Miami and then back to Cozumel or Cancun. Cancun has flights that arrive daily from most parts of the world.

If you fly to Cancun then you will have to take the ADO bus from the Cancun airport to Playa Del Carmen. The busses leave every hour from the airport departure area till 9pm. Once in Playa Del Carmen you will take the Mexico Water Jet Ferry or the UltraMar Ferry to Cozumel.

The bus ride is about 45 min to one hour and the ferry trip is 30-40 min from Playa to Cozumel. The ferry schedule is almost hourly with a few exceptions. The cost of travel in Mexico is cheap and very comfortable.

Once you are on Cozumel you will be met by one of our staff at either the airport or ferry dock and taken to the IDC house.
