PADI Instructor Preparation Course

Your PADI IDC with Cozumel Dive School starts with our exclusive two day Instructor Preparation Course (optional).  These two days are focusing on getting you up to the level necessary to begin the IDC. If you are in Cozumel early enough you will be welcome to join us for two weeks prior to the IDC in order to go diving, sharpen your dive skills and refresh your knowledge.

Cozumel Dive Schools exclusive Instructor Preparation Course primarily focuses on the following:

Confined water skills workshop- You will work with our experienced instructor development staff to perfect your demonstrations of the 24 Basic Scuba Skills, rescue skills and much more.

Dive theory review- Your dive theory knowledge will be assessed and reviewed, allowing you to be fully-prepared for your PADI Instructor Development Course.

PADI Standards and Procedures- We will teach you the overall structure of PADI's Instructor Materials.  This gives you a great introduction on how to use the Instructor Manual!

Extended IDC

We at Cozumel Dive School IDC believe that just meeting the minimums is not good enough. Your worth more than that and we aim to see that your education is the best so that your ready to have a blast with no worries about knowing what to do when that first student arrives and your all alone to deal with the courses that your employer has given you. With extra days and extra free learning material and presentations provided at no extra charge, we make sure that you’re ready for the Instructor Exam and the real world.
